iPAD DRAWING: GREETING CARDS + STICKER DESIGN WORKSHOP
Class Date: Thursday, February 17th
Class Time: 5:30pm-8:30pm
**You will need a charged iPad, Apple Pencil and most recent Procreate App downloaded.
This is a beginner friendly class but some experience with procreate, art and design is preferred!
We will start the workshop with a quick refresher to navigating your iPad and procreate before moving on to setting up your canvas for printed cards + sticker sheets.
We will practice simple illustration and drawing techniques as you create drawings for your cards, including adding text and creating patterns. You will have time to draw independently or work on one of the provided templates.
After the class, we will take one of your digital designs and format them to print on greeting cards + sticker sheets . Your printed cards will be available for pick up in our shop in a couple of weeks!
Each workshop ticket includes:
3 hours of hands on instruction from a talented artist and small business owner
101 refresher for Procreate and shortcuts + tips
How to set up your canvas for printed material
Illustration and drawing techniques
2 design templates
Adding text and other design elements
A set of 25 cards + envelopes with your design on them (one of your designs will be formatted and printed after the class.
A set of 10 vinyl sticker sheets
Individual meal: catered light dinner from a local restaurant
Sweets + treats
Beverages (sparkling water and sparkling wine)
*You will be notified when your cards + stickers are ready for pick up in-store. We anticipate it will take 2-3 weeks.
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: PEI SIM
Pei is the owner + founder of The Paper + Craft Pantry. She started designing stationery in 2013 and is a self-taught illustrator + artist. She designs all of the Paper + Craft Pantry in-house stationery line with simple, fun and colorful doodles. She loves turning hand drawn images into tangible products like cards, notepads, notebooks ands so much more!
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: MEG
Meg is the P+CP designer with a degree in graphic design from the University of South Alabama. She is inspired by 70's design + lettering and has experience working with small businesses through designing collateral like retail products and digital assets.

In the event we are unable to meet in person, you will be able to tune in to a live stream at the same time as the original scheduled class. More information will be communicated if this is deemed necessary.
Cancellations: We do not allow cancellations as we have committed to compensating our instructor for their time, supplies and talent. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop, let us know within 48 hours and you can either send someone else in your place or have this workshop's materials shipped to you.

Dietary restrictions: We will be providing a light meal for all of our workshop attendees. At this time we are not able to cater to every dietary restriction but will have a vegetarian option available. (please make a selection at check out, once your selection has been made we are unable to modify.)
Age requirements: The Paper + Craft Pantry workshops are created for adults and are not recommended for anyone under the age of 18 years old. We are unable to seat anyone under age without a ticketed parent or legal guardian who is also attending this class.
