Class Date: Sunday, February 27th

Class Time: 10am-1pm

Have you ever wanted to explore power tools but were perhaps a little overwhelmed or didn't know where to start? Is there a DIY build you’re dying to make but don’t know where to start?

Join us for this Intro to Wood Working workshop where you will learn the fundamentals of the most common power tools – the power drill, nail gun, palm sander, and the miter saw.

This class will take place right outside our studio and is the perfect opportunity for anyone with little to no experience with power tools to be in a positive learning environment and build something from start to finish!

This 4 hour workshop will begin with an in-depth training on how these tools work as well as hands-on practice and experience using them.

The second half of the workshop, we will be creating a large 12x12 wood block art piece using cut wood from our practice.

You will have the choice to paint your wood blocks in a cool or neutral color palette and will finish the piece by adding a frame. This wood block artwork is the perfect addition hung in your home office, styled on a shelf or as a handmade gift.

Each workshop ticket includes:

  • 4 hours of hands-on personalized instruction from a talented small business owner and artist
  • Workshop booklet
  • Guided use of a variety of power tools
  • Wood + material for your final piece
  • Individual meal: catered light brunch from a local restaurant
  • Sweets + treats
  • Beverages (sparkling water and wine)
