03.05.22 Embroidery: Mushroom Studies Workshop Ticket (In-Studio)

Class Date: Saturday, March 5th

Class Time: 11am - 2pm

*This is not a beginner class - some prior experience with embroidery through one of our past workshops or kits is required. If you are unsure of your experience, please email us so we can help you before purchasing your ticket. 

Continue your embroidery journey with this special workshop that will be focused on stitching a series of mushroom studies. 

This workshop features 4 original mushroom patterns and you will be taught how to transfer your pattern before exploring slightly more advanced stitches. 

You will be taught how to transfer your pattern onto fabric as well as be taught step-by-step how to work through new embroidery stitches and techniques before moving to stitching your final pieces. You will also learn how to add details and texture to your mushrooms.  

Each workshop ticket includes:

  • 3 hours of hands on instruction from a talented artist and small business owner

  • Instructional handout

  • 4 3" bamboo hoop

  • 1 practice piece of fabric

  • 4 pieces of cotton fabric + pen to transfer your design

  • 6 bobbins of hand selected embroidery floss

  • 2 embroidery needles

  • 1 pair of embroidery scissors (to use during the class + keep)

  • Use of glass beads and additional floss colors 

  • Individual meal: catered light dinner from a local restaurant

  • Sweets + treats

  • Beverages (sparkling water and sparkling wine)


Pei is the owner + founder of The Paper + Craft Pantry. She has been stitching and exploring the work of hand embroidery for over 10 years. She believes in the therapeutic practice of embroidery that encourages her to design new patterns and slow down to stitch them into handmade art.

In the event it is deemed necessary to offer a hybrid in-person/virtual workshop or a 100% virtual workshop, you will be contacted via email with more pertinent information. We appreciate your continued flexibility as we navigate resuming our workshop classes in a safe and intentional way.

Cancellations: All sales are final. We do not allow cancellations as we have committed to compensating our instructor for their time, supplies and talent. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop, let us know within 48 hours and you can either send someone else in your place or we will ship the workshop kit version of this class to you following the workshop.

Dietary restrictions: We will be providing a light meal for all of our workshop attendees. At this time we are not able to cater to every dietary restriction but will have a vegetarian option will be available. (please make a selection at check out, once your selection has been made we are unable to modify.)

Age requirements: The Paper + Craft Pantry workshops are created for adults and are not recommended for anyone under the age of 18 years old. We are unable to seat anyone under age without a ticketed parent or legal guardian who is also attending this class.
