INTRO TO BRUSHLETTERING WORKSHOP
Class Date: Sunday, April 30th
Class Time: 12pm–3pm
This beginner friendly class will start with an introduction to basic strokes of brush pen lettering!
You will learn from lettering artist, Kat who will guide you through brushstrokes to each letter before transitioning to words, tips and connecting tricky letter combinations. Using Kat's favorite brush pens, you will learn different ways to use brush pens to elevate your work and develop your own style.
No matter your lettering experience, this workshop will give you personalized instruction on how to take your skills to the next level. You will leave with your lettering guide and curated pen set + the inspiration to continue lettering at home!
Each workshop ticket includes:
3 hours of hands on instruction from a talented artist and small business owner
Lettering guide
Curated set of 3 brush pens (to use and keep!)
Cardstock and a variety of papers
Blending palette

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: KAT DOKKO
Kat is the owner of Kat & Things, a small business that started in NC in 2016 but has traveled to Chicago, and Kansas City since. Now based in Austin, TX, Kat loves to bring joy to others mostly through embroidery, watercolor calligraphy, and florals, but loves creating custom orders and bringing others’ creative visions to life!

Cancellations: We do not allow cancellations as we have committed to compensating our instructor for their time, supplies and talent. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop, let us know within 48 hours and you can either send someone else in your place or have this workshop's materials shipped to you.

Dietary restrictions: We will be providing a light meal for all of our workshop attendees. At this time we are not able to cater to every dietary restriction but will have a vegetarian option available. (please make a selection at check out, once your selection has been made we are unable to modify.)
Age requirements: The Paper + Craft Pantry workshops are created for adults and are not recommended for anyone under the age of 18 years old. We are unable to seat anyone under age without a ticketed parent or legal guardian who is also attending this class.
