FLOWERS + FLOURISHES WORKSHOP
Class Date: Saturday, May 20th
Class Time: 11am–3pm
Join us for an afternoon filled with creative fun during this special combo workshop! You will get a lesson in floral arrangement before diving into the world of lettering.
The class will kick off with an introduction to a variety of flowers and an overview of color palettes. We will then dive right into the art of floral arranging as you create your very own, one-of-a-kind flower arrangement!
Then we will move on to the calligraphy portion of this combo class! Calligraphy is a fun and relaxing art that will make our time fly by once you get started! You will be guided through proper dip pen techniques, mixing gouache to make usable with a nib and step-by-step instruction on how to get started in flourishing as well as tips and tricks along the way. At the end of the class, we will move on to creating your very own quote to take home, frame and enjoy!!
You will leave this workshop with your flower arrangement, calligraphy materials and guide to continue lettering at home!

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: EMBER SHERMAN
Ember is the artist and owner of Ember Elaine Letters, based in Leander, Texas. Her work is inspired by the importance of words in people’s lives and making them beautiful and unique. Ember taught herself how to letter in 2016 and continues to learn new methods of lettering every year, most recently hand-engraved calligraphy and foil lettering! When she isn't working on calligraphy, she enjoys being home with her rescue pup Kevin, traveling with her family and volunteering in her church and community!

Cancellations: We do not allow cancellations as we have committed to compensating our instructor for their time, supplies and talent. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop, let us know within 48 hours and you can either send someone else in your place or pick up your arrangement and supplies the week following the workshop.

Dietary restrictions: We will be providing a light meal for all of our workshop attendees. At this time we are not able to cater to every dietary restriction but will have a vegetarian option available. (please make a selection at check out, once your selection has been made we are unable to modify.)
Age requirements: The Paper + Craft Pantry workshops are created for adults and are not recommended for anyone under the age of 18 years old. We are unable to seat anyone under age without a ticketed parent or legal guardian who is also attending this class.
