INTRO TO EMBROIDERY: FLORALS + FOLIAGE WORKSHOP

Class Date: Sunday, June 25th

Class Time: 12pm–3pm

Come learn the art of hand embroidery during this introductory workshop!

This workshop is great for beginners as well as more seasoned stitchers and features a brand new embroidery pattern design. 

You will be taught step-by-step how to work through different embroidery stitches and techniques before moving to stitching your final piece. Your final piece features 9 different florals, plants and foliage that is a beautiful study of botanicals. 

Each workshop ticket includes:

• 3 hours of hands on instruction from a talented artist and small business owner

• Instructional handout

• 1 6" bamboo hoop

• 1 practice piece of fabric

• 1 pre-drawn piece of fabric

• 8 bobbins of hand selected embroidery floss

• 1 embroidery needle

• 1 pair of embroidery scissors (to use during the class + keep)

• Individual light meal/snack: catered light lunch from a local restaurant

• Sweets + treats

• Beverages (sparkling water and sparkling wine)

• 10% off all retail purchase the day of the workshop

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: PEI SIM

Pei is the owner + founder of The Paper + Craft Pantry. She has been stitching and exploring the work of hand embroidery for over 10 years. She believes in the therapeutic practice of embroidery that encourages her to design new patterns and slow down to stitch them into handmade art.

Cancellations: All sales are final. We do not allow cancellations as we have committed to compensating our instructor for their time, supplies and talent. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop, let us know within 48 hours and you can either send someone else in your place or we will ship the workshop kit version of this class to you following the workshop.

Dietary restrictions: We will be providing a light meal for all of our workshop attendees. At this time we are not able to cater to every dietary restriction but will have a vegetarian option will be available. (please make a selection at check out, once your selection has been made we are unable to modify.)

Age requirements: The Paper + Craft Pantry workshops are created for adults and are not recommended for anyone under the age of 18 years old. We are unable to seat anyone under age without a ticketed parent or legal guardian who is also attending this class.
