INTRO TO POLYMER CLAY FLORALS WORKSHOP

Are you ready to explore the vibrant and enchanting world of polymer clay? Join Alicia from Sweet Honey Creates for an engaging hands-on workshop where you'll learn the fundamentals of this versatile medium and craft your own unique pieces of art.
In this workshop, you'll learn the essential techniques like conditioning, shaping and baking polymer clay while diving into a variety of exciting projects, including creating stunning polymer clay florals.
From adorable pins to breathtaking jewelry and intricate floral designs, the possibilities are endless! Let your creativity flourish as you experiment with vibrant colors, playful textures and one-of-a-kind designs.
No experience? No problem! You'll receive step-by-step guidance through delightful polymer clay designs or feel free to experiment and bring your own ideas to life! Get ready to roll up your sleeves, get your hands dirty and experience the joy of transforming your imagination into reality. You will be able to take home multiple pieces (a set of earrings (2), 1 clutch pin, and 1 hair pin)!
Each workshop ticket includes:
3 hours of hands on instruction from a talented artist and small business owner
Polymer clay and color mixing guide
Curated assortment of clay, 4 clay cutters, guides, rolling pin, small tile workshop surface and small blade (to use and keep)
Earring findings, hair pin, and clutch pin hardware and backing cards
Use of mini oven during workshop as time permits
Use of jewelry making tools + advanced polymer clay tools
Snack bento box + treats
Beverages (sparkling water and sparkling wine)

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: ALICIA RANGEL-CAVAZOS
Alicia is the owner and lead designer of Sweet Honey Creates, based in Austin, Texas. With over 10 years of experience as a graphic designer, Alicia has always been passionate about color and expressing unique style. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant world of design, Alicia has transitioned from pixels to polymer clay, where creativity knows no bounds.
Fueled by a love for experimentation and a desire to create wearable art, Alicia combines her design expertise with the tactile nature of polymer clay to craft one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. Each creation is a testament to her dedication to craftsmanship and Sweet Honey Creates’ commitment to bringing joy and individuality to every wearer.

Inclement weather: Updates and policies will be emailed the week of the workshop date with any current or relevant pertinent information.
Cancellations: We do not allow cancellations as we have committed to compensating our instructor for their time, supplies and talent. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop, let us know within 48 hours and you can either send someone else in your place or pick up any personal workshop materials the week following the class.

Dietary restrictions: We will be providing a light meal for all of our workshop attendees. At this time we are not able to cater to every dietary restriction but will have a vegetarian option available. (Please make a selection at check out, once your selection has been made we are unable to modify.)
Age requirements: The Paper + Craft Pantry workshops are created for adults and are not recommended for anyone under the age of 18 years old. We are unable to seat anyone under age without a ticketed parent or legal guardian who is also attending this class.
