Are you ready to explore the whimsical and creative journey of cake decorating?

Join Sarah from Cake Shack Co for an engaging hands-on workshop where you'll learn the fundamentals of fake cake decorating using the versatile medium of lightweight spackling and craft your own unique pieces of art.

In this workshop, you'll learn how to design and decorate your very own faux cake jewelry box and miniature heart compact mirror box, blending intricate vintage cake decorating techniques with the art of crafting. Let your creativity flourish as you experiment with vibrant colors, vintage piping techniques and cake design.

No experience? No problem! You'll receive step-by-step guidance through cake piping techniques, color theory, or feel free to experiment and bring your own ideas to life! You will be able to take home two pieces - a jewelry box and miniature heart compact mirror box.

Each workshop ticket includes:

• 3 hours of hands on instruction from a talented artist and small business owner

• Jewelry box and miniature heart compact mirror box to decorate
  

• Lightweight spackling and assorted acrylic paint

• Curated assortment of decorations including pearl beads, bows, rainbow clay sprinkles, ribbon roses, plastic cherries and strawberries

• Piping bags, piping tips, couplers, spatula, turntable (for use during workshop)

• Laminated piping practice sheet, written instructions

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: Sarah Sparkman

Sarah is the owner of Cake Shack Co located in Kyle, Texas. A self-taught artist with over 8 years of experience as a professional cake decorator, Sarah always had a passion for sculpting and decided to combine her two favorite interests in life. Named after the song Love Shack by the B52’s, Cake Shack Co is a funky little shack where we can all get together and share our love for art and desserts!

Cancellations: We do not allow cancellations as we have committed to compensating our instructor for their time, supplies and talent. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop, let us know within 48 hours and you can either send someone else in your place or have this workshop's materials shipped to you.

Dietary restrictions: We will be providing a light meal for all of our workshop attendees. At this time we are not able to cater to every dietary restriction but will have a vegetarian option available. (Please make a selection at check out, once your selection has been made we are unable to modify.)

Age requirements: The Paper + Craft Pantry workshops are created for adults and are not recommended for anyone under the age of 18 years old. We are unable to seat anyone under age without a ticketed parent or legal guardian who is also attending this class.
