MIXED MEDIA NIGHT LANDSCAPE WORKSHOP 

Class Date: Saturday, August 17th

Class Time: 11am–2pm

Learn to make a framed, 3-dimensional layered paper and fiber artwork using sustainable materials. This artwork is inspired by bayou hillsides and features layered paper with an embroidered sky.

All the plants and pieces will be pre-cut and ready for you to assemble in this guided workshop. You can choose to follow an example piece or create your own unique artwork with the materials. 

You’ll receive step-by-step instructions on stitching techniques and paper layering to create depth.

At the end of the class you’ll take home your own ready-go-hang framed artwork that will be framed!

Each workshop ticket includes:

• 3 hours of hands on instruction from a talented artists and small business owner

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS: LESLIE ESPINO

Leslie is a female environmental scientist working at NASA. She creates sustainable art using new and repurposed materials to rethink our relationship with waste and single-use items. She hopes that the storybook-style art inspires viewers' imaginations in a way that makes us all active stewards of our environment.

Inclement weather: Updates and policies will be emailed the week of the workshop date with any current or relevant pertinent information.

Cancellations: We do not allow cancellations as we have committed to compensating our instructor for their time, supplies and talent. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop, let us know within 48 hours and you can either send someone else in your place or pick up any personal workshop materials the week following the class.

Dietary restrictions: We will be providing a light meal for all of our workshop attendees. At this time we are not able to cater to every dietary restriction but will have a vegetarian option available. (please make a selection at check out, once your selection has been made we are unable to modify.)

Age requirements: The Paper + Craft Pantry workshops are created for adults and are not recommended for anyone under the age of 18 years old. We are unable to seat anyone under age without a ticketed parent or legal guardian who is also attending this class.
