URBAN SKETCHING WORKSHOP
Class Date: Sunday, October 25th
Class Time: 12-3PM
Let's go urban sketching aka drawing out in the wild and dive into watercolor basics! We'll start this workshop at Tillery Street Plant Co., one of your instructor's favorite spots in Austin. We'll discuss sketching basics before we wander around this magical nursery to sketch all the wonderful plants. Before we leave you'll be able to select a small potted succulent to bring back to the Paper + Craft Pantry for the watercolor portion of our workshop.
When we reconvene at the studio in the Paper + Craft Pantry, we'll learn watercolor basics! After some warming up and color theory, we'll use your succulents for references as we turn them into lovely watercolors.
Each workshop ticket includes:
3 hours of hands on instruction a talented artist and small business owner
A hand-bound mixed paper sketchbook
Loose watercolor paper
Travel watercolor set
A small potted succulent from Tillery Street Plant Co
Individual light meal
Sweets + treats
Beverages (sparkling water and sparkling wine)
