INTRO TO CANDLE POURING WORKSHOP

Class Date: Saturday, December 7th

Class Time: 12pm-3pm

This fun and interactive workshop is a great starting point for beginners to candle
making. Whether you already are a candle enthusiast or just curious and want to learn
how to make candles, this is the class for you! 

During the workshop, you’ll get hands-on experience making your own scented candles. You’ll walk through each of the basic steps outlined in the workshop guide to make two 9 oz candles in beautiful blown glass jars with brass lids after a practice pour into a 6 oz gold metal tin and choose your own scents from over a dozen high grade fragrance oils provided. You’ll surely delight in your creations to enjoy at home once they are fully cured.

Each workshop ticket includes:

• 3 hours of hands on instruction from two talented artists and small business owners

• Soy wax

• Fragrance oils

• Personal pouring pot + thermometer

• Wick holders, stirring stick, cotton wicks

• Metal tin container + 2 blown glass candle containers

• Snack bento box + treats

• Beverages (sparkling water and sparkling wine)

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR VIVIAN: 

Vivian is the chandler behind Cuco + Clara, the online shop by Meghan Kardow Interior Design specializing in candles, home fragrances, and vintage décor and textiles sourced in Austin, Texas. Vivian has been making candles as a hobby since she was in her teens, sharing her creations over the years with family and friends. After a long career in the corporate world, she longed for doing something more creative and, with encouragement, she turned her love for candles into a small business three years ago which she operates from her home studio right here in Austin, Texas. Since then, she has researched and learned much about the candle industry, developed key resources, taken multiple classes, and elevated her formulations. Last year, she began offering workshops locally to share what she learned and help others on their candle making journey.

Cancellations: We do not allow cancellations as we have committed to compensating our instructor for their time, supplies and talent. However, if you are unable to attend the workshop, let us know within 48 hours and you can either send someone else in your place or have this workshop's materials shipped to you.

Dietary restrictions: We will be providing a light meal for all of our workshop attendees. At this time we are not able to cater to every dietary restriction but will have a vegetarian option available. (please make a selection at check out, once your selection has been made we are unable to modify.)

Age requirements: The Paper + Craft Pantry workshops are created for adults and are not recommended for anyone under the age of 18 years old. We are unable to seat anyone under age without a ticketed parent or legal guardian who is also attending this class.
