This ink comes in a keepsake glass jar and reflects a time of high fashion and elegance from the Taisho era in Japan. Haikara or "high collar" became popularized as a term to describe "stylish, new, fresh or fashionable" trends and culture that began entering Japan from Europe and America between 1912 and 1926. These vibrant inks were developed to reflect this era in history.
The Antique Black ink offers the deepest of browns, reminiscent of the way black ink fades over time creating the perfect antique look.
